 Whether it is good or not, do you want to help make it even better?

If you do, we invite you to join us in this new effort.

We are forming a network of people across Colorado who want to be good neighbors by taking a couple of hours each month to:

 #1) greet newcomers as they move into your neighborhood; and  #2) email all your neighbors each month to help them learn, initially about our wonderful Colorado Caucus. (What's that? Search on Google or on Wikipedia.org click here.)

As you may know, our Colorado Caucus is the best chance for your neighborhood to be represented by the best people, very often the average, ordinary person who reads the newspaper and votes, but other than that may not have had much if any partisan political experience.

New! Caucus Clubs to facilitate self-directed learning.

Hyper-local self-directed learning is the purpose of new Caucus Clubs, catholic in the small "c" sense of "universal."

Civic education will be a primary purpose, neighbors helping neighbors to become better neighbors and more active citizens.

Groups in cooperation with local chambers of commerce, service clubs, community newspapers and other local organizations are expected to form on a variety of topics.

A group sampler will be held once a week in Denver starting this Friday. It's free and seating is very limited so rsvp well in advance if you are planning a trip to or thru Denver.

Hyper-local Neighborhood Caucus Clubs Being Organized.

“Fresh leadership is always needed in both major political parties, so we will help them both.”

Denver—Save the Caucus, a Colorado political committee formed this year to fight what has become Propositions 107 and 108, today announced a project for hyper-local civic education to increase informed participation in the Colorado Caucus in 2018. www.Meetup.com/Caucus-Clubs (303)861-1447

Making the announcement long-time community activist John Wren said, "Hyper-local neighborhood Caucus Clubs will be promoted through Nextdoor.com and local community newspapers. Caucus Clubs will welcome new neighbors and invite everyone in the neighborhood to social events and educational activities in the neighborhood, in cooperation with local chambers, local community newspapers, service clubs, etc. 

"Caucus Clubs will not take political positions, except on legislation that effects the Colorado Caucus, nor will we endorse candidates or issues. Like the Denver City Club (I'm a former member and past President) our purpose will be 'to inform not reform.' We will cooperate with everyone interested in strengthening the grassroots in business and politics, and we will inform newcomers of their precinct committee people for both major political parties and we will give them subscription information for local publications and performing arts groups," said Wren
