New! Vote+ Quantum Voting for Elections When You Can’t Decide.

Don't just settle!

Give each 1/2 vote. Here's how:
Quantum computers are more powerful because bits aren’t just one or zero. With Vote+, a new way to vote, you aren’t forced to pick just one candidate or another.
Whether you like both candidates so much you can’t decide, or whether you dislike both candidates so much you can’t decide, you don’t have to just settle for one or the other, and you can send a big message.
Here’s how it works:
You get your paper ballot and vote in the normal way.
In the election that you want to use Vote+ because the candidates are either equally good or bad vote for both on the paper ballot or vote for neither.
Both blank means you dislike both and can’t vote for either.
Both marked means you like both/all candidates equally.
The benefit of Vote+
It encourages more people to vote since they have a way of expressing their faith in our country and believe that both/all candidates will do a good job.
It also encourages more people to vote because it gives them a way to express their extreme displeasure with both/all candidates.
Only works with paper ballots.

If you leave your positive or negative reactions to this idea here, it would be very helpful. I'm going to revise it (or deleate it) over the weekend and I'll decide how to promote it.

This is intended to be educational, not political. It's a voting technique that I think is new, at least it is to me. If we promote Vote+ I think we could make lots of people aware of it and it would become a normal part of voting.

What do you think of it? Thumbs up or thumps down? Anything I could change to make it better?

Thanks! John Wren (303)861-1447

Not getting much feedback either way on this. What do you think?

If you are a true believer in Trump or Biden you will see this as a terrible idea, understandably.

But if you think neither Trump or Biden is a good choice, seems to me you'd think this is a great idea. And if you are like me and think both Trump and Biden have their good and bad points, seems to me you'd love this idea.

Why no feed back from the non-true believers? Is it something I said? Or didn't say? Your input would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

I view this as chickening out. Sometimes, voting across party lines is needed to show just how badly your party of choice needs to change. The Republicans need to have a wake up call. Most of the yes men that have helped Trump ignore the Constitution, and put this country in jeopardy by doing so, will have to answer at the polls themselves. Are you suggesting giving 1/2 votes to them as well? Having people cast 1/2 a vote, instead of doing everything you can to get more people to just vote, is a waste of time. I'd love for voting to be required by law, and make voting day a national holiday. The Electoral College needs to go away as well. Just my 2 cents. :)

To my son: you get your 2 cents and I get mine. :-)

I see your point, and it's a good one. The important thing is to vote. Then even more important is to get involved and make a difference in 2022, yes the 2022 election starts now.

As you've heard me say before, I agree with President Eisenhauer when he said, "In our system of government, politics has to be the part-time occupation of every citizen.

No one, not one person, has said they like my idea of Quantum Voting as described above. Maybe everyone is just knowing it's best to keep me humble. But let's give it a chance and see what happens in November.

It will be successful in my mind if I just get a response to it from my son, so it has already worked for me. :-) I hope you will consider running for elected public office someday, I think you'd make a great representative. I love you. God bless you and Meagan and CJ. Pop

One other thing John Thomas:

Anyone you know who might run for elected public office and wants practice for it should come to Socrates Cafe. As you know it's not political, we discourage direct discussion of candidates and issues because most people have made up their minds about those things and instead of a productive dialogue where everyone learns it turns into a fight where people just share their favorite arguments with each other.

Right now all the meetings are online, so everyone can give it a try without even leaving home. :-) Please share this with anyone you know who might be interested, after you rsvp yes yourself for an upcoming meeting, ok? :-)

Socrates Cafes, educational not political, we do not endorse candidates or issues. We choose a topic, share our thoughts, ask each other questions. For more see www.Meetup.com/Socrates-Cafe-Society or call me (303)861-1447. PLEASE SHARE WITH ANYONE YOU KNOW WHO MIGHT BE INTERESTED.

I’m far more worried about the 2020 election at the moment. And the skeletons, and complete lack of desire to, keep me from running for any public office :) love you pop!
